It all started with a simple idea: to enhance Lanakila Custom Products’ print production capabilities and offer our customers faster, more efficient service. With the introduction of our new direct-to-film transfer printing service which uses heat technology to transfer a full-color image onto a garment, we can continue to produce high-quality prints on a variety of apparel and accessories, while significantly reducing production time and costs.
In October 2024, Lanakila Custom Products was the beneficiary of SourceAmerica’s Growth, Technology, and Modernization Grant, which supports qualified nonprofit agencies’ efforts to modernize its operations and improve growth. Following extensive testing, we are now prepared to move into production.
“Because of this significant grant, our customers can have their items custom imprinted with a vibrant and durable design at an affordable price and with a faster turn-around time,” says Taylan Teixeira, Lanakila Custom Products Supervisor. “Our new direct-to-film transfer service enables us to quickly process our customers’ orders so we can offer next-day printing, while maintaining the high-quality standard that they are used to.”
