In June, Lanakila Employment Services proudly partnered with Hawaii State Federal Credit Union (HSFCU) to offer a series of invaluable learning sessions on banking, finances, and cyber security for our program participants. This collaboration is a testament to our commitment to providing comprehensive support and skill-building opportunities to those we serve.
Amber Milsap, HSFCU’s Community Relations Officer, graciously visited Lanakila Pacific to conduct a total of six engaging and informative sessions. These sessions covered a range of essential topics, including mobile banking, understanding credit scores, avoiding scams, and effective budgeting strategies.
Participants were highly engaged, finding the sessions both educational and empowering. They walked away with practical knowledge that will undoubtedly aid in their financial independence and security.
