Lanakila Pacific was honored to be a part of Hawaii State Federal Credit Union’s inaugural HSFCU Cares Day, an event that transformed Columbus Day (Indigenous Peoples’ Day) into an extraordinary opportunity for community service and charitable giving. Hawaii State FCU closed all branches and headquarters operations to dedicate the day to serving the community across Oahu and Maui.

We were delighted to have Hawaii State FCU employees join us at Lanakila Pacific, where they supported our Lanakila Meals on Wheels program by packing meals for seniors. Additionally, they brought joy to our Lanakila Teaching & Learning Center program participants through arts and crafts activities. The generosity of Hawaii State FCU extended further with a monetary donation to enhance our services and reach even more individuals in need.

The dedication of Hawaii State FCU employees extended to other nonprofits across Oahu and Maui, where they engaged in various volunteer efforts, including environmental clean-ups, food bank support, and assistance to local shelters. Their collective efforts were a testament to their commitment to making a positive difference in our community.

A very big Mahalo to Hawaii State Federal Credit Union employees!
